today is a good day paula's parent have agreed to take the cats while she is pregnant. maybe in 7 months we will be able to make a good excuse for them to keep them for ever. i hate cats.

We lost both our dachshunds in the last six months or so. The 13-yr old that we got when he was barely 8 weeks old had to get put down. The younger one got attacked by a bulldog (which got a few dogs in the area. The bulldog got put down) and sadly died a horrible death.

So, we finally decided to get a new family dog. Meet Jake. We drove down near Silver Springs to get him.

A couple newer pics. he's 14 weeks now. My wife didn't get him weighed the other day at the vet but she will next week. I think he is at least 30 lbs.
